Knife Laws

I am sure most if not all who carry a blade know the laws but it is a good idea to check before you travel. Over the weekend I planned to see my son in Rhode Island and knew I could not bring my EDC hand gun. So figured I would take my EDC knife. A check of their knife laws revealed my EDC knife while CT legal would be a violation in RI. Concealing a knife there limits you to a blade length of 3 inches. Interestingly, you can open carry longer knives.
My EDC knife stayed home.

The state is obligated to protect us from ourselves.

Yeah, guess there are states worse than ours. There are some bills in Hartford right now that might change that.

Protect us from ourselves, we don't need that kind of help but looks like what we are getting. Too much government in our lives and it is not good.
