I was a bit reluctant to try the jacketed loads with 14 to 15 grains of Red Dot and now I will stay away from it. One failure to clear the barrel is enough proof that the load is unreliable.
There is ample data for reduced jacketed loads with other powders, so why launch into the lesser known areas. Red Dot is great for cast loads and I have ample cast bullets, too.
